Metal Finishing – Painting
Powder Coating
Electrostatic powder coating; solvent-free finish with uniform coverage and high mechanical durability.
Process
Powder is applied to the surface electrostatically and oven-cured. More durable and economical than wet paint.
What it provides
- Physical durability
- High bend and flex capacity
- Wide color range
Frequently asked questions
Does powder coating meet military specifications?
Yes. Epoxy, polyester and hybrid powders are applied to MIL-PRF-85285 and MIL-DTL-53039 colour and performance requirements; curing is documented by oven record.
Should I choose powder or wet paint?
Powder is thick, impact resistant and solvent-free, suited to large flat surfaces and enclosures. Wet paint is needed for thin films, multi-coat primer-topcoat systems and camouflage patterns. Without a specification we recommend per part.
