Applications
Aerospace
Surface treatment and precision component production to aerospace specifications under AS9100.
Aerospace parts are processed under our AS9100 quality system. The processes aerospace specifications call for, chromic acid anodizing, cadmium plating, chemical conversion and passivation, run in-house, including hydrogen embrittlement relief baking.
What we supply to this sector
- MIL-A-8625 anodizing: chromic, sulfuric and hard types
- QQ-P-416 cadmium plating for steel parts mating with aluminum
- MIL-DTL-5541 chemical conversion (Alodine), Cr+3 and Cr+6
- Titanium anodizing and stainless passivation (AMS-2700)
- Weight-optimized opto-mechanical parts via SLM

Frequently asked questions
Which processes fall under AS9100?
Chromic and sulphuric anodizing, cadmium, chemical conversion, passivation, silver, electroless nickel and painting run under the AS9100 quality system; special processes are NADCAP accredited.
Is traceability provided on flight parts?
Yes. Batch, bath analysis, oven record and measurement report are tied to the part number and retained.
Have a drawing for this process?
Send your technical drawing or 3D CAD model through our secure channel. Our engineering team replies with a quotation against the specification.
