The 16th International Defence Industry Fair (IDEF), hosted by the Turkish Ministry of National Defence, was a landmark for the whole sector. The Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Türkiye (TOBB) published its "Türkiye 100" list of the country's fastest-growing companies. Compiled from 2016–2018 data, the list covers companies whose growth performance contributes to the national economy. Ader Savunma was one of seven defence and aerospace companies on it.

Ader Savunma, which set out in 2015 with twelve people to serve the needs of the Turkish defence industry, has opened its second plant. With growing capacity, additional processes and a wide logistics network it continues to support the sector's prime contractors.

Ader Savunma has opened its Istanbul liaison office. Surface-treated systems can now be delivered directly to the address our partners specify. Logistics runs organised with Ader vehicles on set days of the week move parts for partners in Istanbul and the surrounding provinces faster and more reliably.

An exemplary step in public–industry cooperation was taken in the Anadolu Organised Industrial Zone. Governor of Ankara Ercan Topaca, Deputy Governor Bilal Bozdemir, Mayor of Sincan Murat Ercan, District Governor Abdullah Küçük and provincial directors met the zone's manufacturers to review their requests.
