Process

Frequently asked questions
Which stainless grades are passivated?
300 and 400 series, precipitation-hardened (17-4 PH) and duplex stainless; acid type (nitric or citric) and time are chosen per grade to AMS-2700 / ASTM-A967.
How is passivation verified?
By the water immersion, high humidity or copper sulphate tests in ASTM-A967; the result is on the report.
